WHAT DO WE PRINT ON?
All artworks are printed on Centurion Photo Silk 285 Satin Paper. This super white, smooth paper has the look and feel of a traditional silver halide photo paper and is specifically designed for high quality professional output with an increased colour gamut and deeper black density. The Satin is more resistant to fading, yellowing and has strong archival characteristics. It is 100% virgin fibre that is sourced from sustainable forests and was awarded the Nordic Satin Award - representing the most demanding ecological mark in international paper. While we do our best to represent all images on this website as they would come out in print, there may be slight variations due to the brightness and colour settings on individual monitors or mobile devices.
All non-framed prints come with a white border.
HOW ARE YOUR FRAMES MADE AND CONSTRUCTED?
Each timber frame is cut, milled, sanded and assembled in Australia - please allow 2 weeks for framing to occur. We offer 3 standard framing options for all images White, Black and Natural Oak, with all timber mouldings made from Australian sourced timber. Each frame is available either with, or without a white matte around the print. Every image is protected by ultra-clear, non-reflective glass and each frame comes with a hanging wire so its ready to hang upon delivery.
The sizing of our framed prints refers to the actual size of the photo print. Once the matt board and frame are added to the print, the overall length and height of the artwork is increased, so please take this into account when measuring your wall space.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE SHIP MY ORDER?
All artworks are made to order. Most prints will be underway within 24-48 hours of placing your order and then are carefully packaged, ready for shipping. Framed prints will require a longer lead time to allow our printing and framing partners to do their best work. Framed prints are generally ready to ship 10-14 days after placing your order, however may take longer during busy periods such as Christmas.
International customers should allow 4 weeks for all orders.
HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
Shipping times vary depending on where you are in the world, the item you have ordered and delays during busy periods. Please note that you will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped. If your order is urgent, please email al@aldavis.com.au before placing an order.
DO YOU SHIP ALL ITEMS INTERNATIONALLY?
We strongly recommend purchasing prints only for international customers. Framed prints are fragile in nature when being shipped overseas and can incur hefty shipping costs due to their weight. It is best to have your image framed locally upon delivery in your country.
ARE SHIPMENTS INSURED?
All pieces are fully insured for damage. Although it is rare, it can happen during the shipping process. Please notify us within 2 business days of receiving your package so that we can submit a claim to the courier company. You must include photos of the damage to the frame and photos of the packaging.
WHAT ABOUT DUTIES AND TAXES?
We only charge taxes to Australian customers (where GST applies) which is shown in the listed prices. International customers, you will not be charged these but you will be responsible for any duties, VAT, taxes or surcharges levied or charged by your country - so please check with local authorities prior to placing your order to confirm taxes and duties.
WHAT SORT OF PACKAGING DO YOU USE?
All prints (unframed and framed) are carefully packaged to withstand the stress of shipping and ensure you receive the highest quality product. Unframed prints are rolled, wrapped and then shipped in secure tubes. Frames are wrapped and boxed for shipping, plus are ready to hang as soon as you pull them out of the box. We try to minimise the packaging for environmental reasons, but always ensure there is a healthy balance between the protection of your new artwork and environmental responsibility.
